Senior Revenue Operations Analyst
Who we are:
At Wagepoint, we're good people. It's easy to feel that way when you're surrounded by folks doing the best work of their careers, building great payroll software for small businesses across Canada.
Our team brings together diverse backgrounds, perspectives, experiences, and ideas to make payroll the easiest part of running a business.
We're remote-first, growing, and looking for passionate people who don't settle for the first solution or the way it's been done before. We care deeply about our customers and each other, and understand that when it comes to payroll, getting it right matters.
Our values guide how we work and what we expect from one another:
Cultivate Impact by focusing on what matters most and delivering meaningful outcomes for our customers.
Unify as One Team by collaborating openly, communicating clearly, and rallying around shared goals.
Stay Curious and Kind by challenging assumptions, learning quickly, and leading with empathy.
If you want to build the future of payroll in a place where your ideas are welcomed and your contributions matter, look no further!
The role at high level:
We're looking for a Senior Revenue Operations Analyst who can take a messy business question and come back with an answer people can act on. You'll be the analytical engine of our Revenue Operations team, owning the reporting, models, and definitions that Marketing, Sales, and Customer Support rely on to decide where to spend their time.
This isn't a report-request role. You'll connect data from across our GTM stack, dig into why the numbers moved, and bring recommendations to team leads before they ask. You'll work hands-on in those systems where configuration or troubleshooting is needed to keep the data accurate, and you'll use AI to get from question to answer faster. You'll report directly to the Director of Revenue Operations.
What you'll be expected to own:
Design, build, and maintain reporting and dashboards that provide meaningful insights across Marketing, Sales, and Customer Support.
Analyze GTM performance, identify trends, and translate complex data into actionable recommendations for business leaders.
Build and maintain spreadsheet models that support commission tracking, pipeline analysis, forecasting, capacity planning, and CRM data reconciliation.
Pull and connect data from across our GTM tech stack, including HubSpot, Zendesk, and Gong, into reporting that gives one reliable view of the business, working hands-on in those systems to keep the data accurate.
Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through automation and AI, while helping the broader GTM organization adopt new capabilities.
Lead cross-functional Revenue Operations initiatives, including CRM improvements, reporting enhancements, process redesigns, and system implementations.
Create and maintain clear documentation, standard operating procedures, and knowledge resources that improve consistency and scalability across the business.
Partner closely with Marketing, Sales, Customer Support, and leadership to improve data quality, streamline processes, and enable better decision-making.
What you bring to the table:
4+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Marketing Operations, or a similar go-to-market operations role within a SaaS or high-growth company.
Experience independently managing projects across multiple business systems with minimal supervision.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve ambiguous business problems using data.
Hands-on experience working in HubSpot (configuration, reporting, and CRM data management is core to this role), with additional exposure to support tools such as Zendesk and Gong.
Advanced proficiency with Google Sheets or Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and structured data modeling.
Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or embedded platform AI to improve workflows and productivity.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts and data insights to a variety of stakeholders.
A continuous improvement mindset with strong attention to detail and a passion for building scalable processes.
Post-secondary education in Business, Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
You have experience building lead scoring models, lifecycle management, or marketing attribution reporting.
Bonus points if:
You hold HubSpot certifications or have deep CRM administration experience.
You've designed and implemented AI-enabled operational workflows that improved team efficiency.
You're passionate about improving how teams work through automation, documentation, and operational excellence.
What we bring to the table:
Impact: Dig in and directly contribute to Wagepoint’s growth and success.
Culture: Work alongside a team that genuinely enjoys solving problems together, celebrates wins, supports one another through challenges, and still finds time for the occasional terrible joke.
Growth: We believe learning is part of the job. We’re committed to helping you Get Better Every Day (a representation of our Stay Curious and Kind value!) by offering professional development, new experiences, and career growth as we continue to evolve.
Innovation: Curiosity and experimentation encouraged! Bring ideas, challenge assumptions, responsibly utilize AI, and help shape better ways of working.
Remote: Work from wherever you do your best work. Wagepoint has always been remote-first, giving you flexibility, autonomy, and hopefully a little extra time with the people (and pets) you love.
Ready to join the team? Apply now and help us continue making payroll the easiest part of running a business.
Next steps:
If this sounds like the right fit, we’d love to hear from you! No need for a formal cover letter, just send us your resume and if you’d like, a few lines about what excites you about the opportunity.
If we agree it's a great match, someone from our team will reach out to schedule a call.
Psssst!
